We've actually had some warm enough days to walk down to the river and play. On one particularly warm day, I even got my wimpy self into the water for a little float. (Jonah and Ana had tried it first, so I knew I'd survive at least). We had a blast! What a treat to have our own little sandy beach and swimming place just a short walk from our house!
Wish we'd had a warmer summer so we could've floated the whole river... oh well...

Forgot to say how much I loved seeing your house from the air and your beautiful garden! Did your house sitter take care of all that while you were gone?
