Most of these photos are self explanatory, but don't ask me to explain how Elsie dressed as a princess managed to make her way outside to hang out with the pigs.
Ana and Cam took Valentine's Day VERY seriously this year, each spending many many days and countless hours hand writing notes to each person they gave a Valentine to. Ana gave out 50, which it was quite a feat, but with Cam's laborious handwriting abilities, his 24 cards were even more astonishing. What a guy. They each made their cards using a scanned copy (and then printed at Costco) of a heart-themed painting they created with their art teacher. Then, they taped the copy to the cards and Ana even punched little hearts around the edges and then they wrote in them and it was all a major production that I meanly made them do ALL by themselves (except the Costco part... but I had a free 100 prints coupon). To top it off, at the family dinner prayer on V-day, Ana blessed that all people will remember the "true" meaning of Valentine's day. Cam agreed heartily after the prayer and I was confused and said, "What do you mean?" aand Ana and Cam explained that most kids are just excited about candy on V-day and not so much about the making of very special cards for your friends and family. Wow. This is not from my influence, I promise.
We spent last weekend in Redmond with my aunt Julie and uncle Max and cousin Lyndsi and had a fun trip, then came back for basketball games then went to Whidbey Island for my cousin Jenye's house un-warming(is that what you call it)/son's birthday party, then back for church on Sunday morning, then to Kingston on Monday to pick up a friend who needed a ride... basically, lots of driving, but worth it. However, the kids started to revolt on Monday, so we braved the cold and visited a railroad bridge... the kids were having so much fun running up and down the bridge 100 feet above the valley floor that they didn't mind me taking 127 photos.
Enjoy.

That didn't look like 127 photos but I didn't take the time to really count--I've been out of school for a while.
