I'm going to attempt to make up for six weeks of not blogging in one night, so you'll just have to forgo much commentary.
So, the best thing of all of 2008! Jonah graduated from COLLEGE! He's been working with USU for the last four years to get all his credits transferred, credited, etc and FINALLY (with some help from high up) they gave him his well-earned BA Diploma in Interdisciplinary Studies (Anthropology, actually). YEA! Jonah's parents, brother Eli, and Grandma Ruthie (of course, since we got to stay at her house while we were there) joined us for the solemn ceremony. The kids spiced it up with their antics, though, especially when Camden dropped my iPhone down an air vent. We had to open the vent during the last "pomp and circumstance" music and lower Ana six feet down to get it! Also, Jonah got to graduate in a HUGE snow storm, so his graduate campus parade was a fun furry snow mess. The kids loved it. Anyway, we had a great time in Logan. Thanks Grandma Ruthie for hosting us, and thanks to Rick and Linda for the graduation lunch and sport coat!
Before we went up to Logan for the gradutation, we scored a free ski day at The Canyons! Cam had never gone, and thanks to Jonah's uncle Kevin (who is a professional ski instructor and graciously spent fofur hours helping the kids learn) Cam skiied all over the place... while holding someone's hand. I was fairly impressed. Ana ripped the mountain apart, probably thanks to her waterskiing prowess. The kids had one of their best days ever... I don't think either of them complained once the whole time. Elsie had a great day too hanging out with Grammie.
Love to visit the snow, but so glad we don't live in it all the time.
